A motivated and energetic person is sought to lead, manage and further develop the successful Fast Forward program. Fast Forward is a major and growing UWS schools engagement initiative which helps to build school students educational aspirations, skills and confidence.

It focuses on students who have academic and/or leadership potential, but are at risk of dropping out of school. The manager supervises a small team of three working on Fast Forward and contributes to the broader schools engagement agenda, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Schools Engagement Unit and the Office of Engagement and Partnerships.

Excellent management, communication and stakeholder liaison skills, as well as knowledge of the challenges involved in building aspirations among students from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds, will be integral to effectiveness in this role. There will be considerable scope to incorporate new ideas as the program evolves. It will be an interesting and rewarding position for a suitably qualified applicant.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $104,034 to $111,100 p.a. (comprising Salary $87,910 to $93,881 p.a., 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
